Your privacy
We built the Ring Health Check to help you spot prong wear before a stone is lost. Here is, in plain words, what we collect, who helps us run the tool, and how long anything is kept.
What we collect
- Your ring photo, so we can check your prongs.
- Your two answers: whether your ring catches on things, and whether a stone seems loose.
- Your contact details (name, phone, and email or a note if you add them), only if you choose to send us your report.
- A scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your internet address, used only to stop the tool from being overloaded or misused. We can't turn it back into your address.
We don't use advertising trackers, and you don't need an account.
Who helps us run it
- Google Gemini API (Google) looks at your photo to find the prongs and estimate wear.
- Netlify hosts this website, runs the check, and receives the report form when you send it to us.
- Resend delivers the email copy of your report to our shop.
These companies handle your information only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
- Your photo is deleted from our system right after the analysis, and any leftover copy is cleared automatically within a couple of hours, even if something goes wrong.
- Your results (the prong findings, not the photo) are kept for up to 7 days so your screen can load them, then deleted automatically.
- We keep anonymous grading numbers (for example, how worn each prong looked) to make the tool more accurate. They contain no photo, name, or contact details.
- The scrambled internet address used for usage limits is deleted after about two days.
- If you send us your report, your contact details, answers, and the photos you send come to our shop by form and email so our jeweler can follow up. We keep them as long as we need them to help you with your ring, and you can ask us to delete them any time.
What we never do
- We never sell your information.
- We never share it with anyone for their own marketing.
